The Rockies have somehow been around for three decades, which means I’ve seen the Mets play far too many games at Coors Field, where you’re always braced for a ballgame to go off the rails and become something that might or might not be fun but doesn’t particularly resemble baseball. Given the locale, then, Friday night’s Mets-Rockies game feels most notable for all the things that didn’t happen.
