Two New Books!
Not to mention a new movie!
There’s a new Star Wars movie out at midnight – perhaps you’ve heard – and I have two new books connected to it.
Rogue One: Rebel Dossier is an in-universe book that lets you peek over Mon Mothma’s shoulder as she reads key documents related to the fateful mission led by Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso. It’s for kids, but I think adult readers will like it too: it’s definitely got a WEG/Essential Guide to Warfare vibe.
Rogue One: Secret Mission, my other new book, is an out-of-universe overview of the story that I hope will be a great primer for kids, getting them up to speed on the heroes, places, vehicles, gear and enemies they’ll see on-screen.
Most importantly, go see this movie! I loved it – I think any Star Wars fan will like it, but if you’re a classic-trilogy kid like me it’s like discovering they shot another movie back in the late 70s and OMG WE ALL GET TO SEE IT. Enjoy!
